Márvány / Marble

Nem tudom, vannak-e a keménységnek fokozatai (persze, hogy vannak), de a márvány az felettébb kemény. A lakás padlÓjának nagy része (két hálószobát és a konyhát kivéve) fehér márvánnyal van burkolva (a fürdőszobákban a mennyezetig). Remekül gurul rajta az íróasztal kerekes széke, jól néz ki és könnyen fel lehet söpörni, de amúgy sok értelmét nem látom (hacsak nem olcsó helyi termék). Fáj tőle az ember talpa, ehhez képest a konyhai csempe kifejezetten puha, a hálószobai parkettáról már nem is beszélve. Persze, mi sem estünk a fejünkre, vettünk pár szőnyeget. Meg van papucsunk is. De azért azt javaslom azoknak, akik flancolni akarnak a lakásukkal, hogy inkább tömör arany kilincsbe fektessék a pénzüket, ne márványpadlóba.

I do not know if there are levels of hardness (of course there are), but the marble is quite hard. Most of the apartman's floor (with the exception of two bedrooms and the kitchen) is covered with white marble (in the bathrooms up to the ceiling). The swivel chair wonderfully rolls on it, it looks good and easy to sweep but I see not much point in it (unless it's a cheap local product). The sole hurts, in comparison the tiles in the kitchen are definitely soft, not to mention the wooden parquet in the bedrooms. Of course, we are not losers, we bought a few rugs and carpets. And we have slippers. Nonetheless, my suggestion for those who want a really fancy house to invest their money in solid gold door handles rather then marble flooring.
