Mennyország / Heaven

Ebédidőben beugrottam a Mennyországba. Úgy hívják, hogy Low Yat Plaza.
Lehet, hogy nem a teljes, igazi Mennyország, de legalábbis annak egy specifikus implementációja olyan embereknek, akiket lázba hoz a 3-way SLI vagy egy hordozható, DVD±R-DL író, ami tudja a LightScribe technológiát.
Amit halandó ember tapasztal ebből, az 5 emelet hardver- és szórakoztató elektronikai bolt; minden méretben. Tágas, elegáns szalonok mellett diszkontok magas polcokon egymásra halmozott alkatrészekkel. A "minden" szó nem fedi le eléggé, mit lehet ott kapni.
És milyen árakon. Folyton emlékeztetnem kellett magamat, hogy valójában semmi szükségem nincs az igen kívántos és szépen csillogó dolgokra.
Szóval a menyországban is lehet pokolian szenvedni...

During lunchtime I hopped into Heaven. It's called Low Yat Plaza.
Maybe it is not the full, real Heaven, but at least a specific implementation of it for people who become excited about 3-way SLI or a portable DVD±R-DL writer that comes with LightScribe technology.
What the mortal man experiences from it is 5 floors of hardware and consumer eletronics shops; in every size. Spacious, elegant showrooms next to discount shops of tall shelves with components piled on top of each other. The word "everything" does not fully cover what can be bought there.
And at what prices. I had to remind myself continuously that I do not need at all any of the highly desirable and nicely shiny stuff.
So even in Heaven you can suffer like hell...
